The Toxic Algae Threat in Florida - A More Tempered View. by Dr. Ed Phlips

Between 1986 and 2007 Florida LAKEWATCH volunteers have sampled in 56 counties, a total of:
2289 water bodies, including 1511 lakes, 344 coastal sites,
425 river sites, and 9 springs!

Sampled in 2007: 867 water bodies: 609 lakes, 129 coastal sites,124 rivers and 5 springs.
